Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Site Audit Max (“the App”) handles information. The App is designed to work offline. Inspection data you create is stored on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
1. Who we are

2. Information the App stores on your device
Depending on how you use the App, it may store locally on your device:
- Project and snag/issue details you enter (titles, notes, categories, status, etc.)
- Photos and annotated images you capture or attach
- Optional voice notes (microphone)
- Optional GPS coordinates stamped on inspection photos (location)
- Client signatures and report branding settings (for example company name/logo)
- App preferences (theme, accessibility, haptics, and similar settings)
- Backups or export files you choose to create (PDF, CSV, ZIP, or full backup)
This data remains on your device unless you choose to share or export it using your device’s share sheet (for example email, Drive, Files, or another app you select).
3. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions, only to provide features you use:
- Camera — capture snag photos on site
- Photos / media — attach images to issues and branding
- Microphone — record voice notes on issues
- Location (while using the App) — optionally stamp GPS on inspection photos
You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without them.
4. Accounts, analytics, and advertising
- The App does not require an account or login.
- We do not operate a cloud sync service for your inspection data.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the App.
- We do not use analytics SDKs that collect personally identifiable information from your inspections.
5. Internet and third parties
Core App features are intended to work without an internet connection. If you share or export files, those files are handled by the apps and services you choose on your device. Their privacy policies apply to that sharing.
Distribution platforms (such as Google Play) may collect information according to their own policies when you download or update the App.
6. Children
The App is intended for professional site inspection use and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because data is stored on your device, you control it. You can delete projects, issues, media, and related data inside the App, or uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data (subject to your device/OS behaviour). Exported files you previously shared elsewhere are outside our control.
8. Security
We design the App so inspection content stays on your device. Protect your device with a screen lock and be careful when sharing exports that may contain client or site information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
